Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market penetration
- Lead the management team to achieve business objectives
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and governance
- Manage relationships with stakeholders (regulators, investors, customers, etc.)
- Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies
- Ensure effective operations and manage costs
- Lead talent acquisition, development, and retention
- Represent the company with external stakeholders
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve growth targets
- Manage the company's portfolio and risk profile
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (CBN, etc.)
- Lead and manage the senior management team
- Drive innovation and improvement in products and services
- Represent the company at industry events and forums
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Portfolio growth and quality (PAR, write-offs, etc.)
- Revenue growth and profitability
- Customer acquisition and retention
- Risk management and compliance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA, etc.) is a plus
- At least 10 years of experience in microfinance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience in managing a money lending business or similar financial services company
- Strong understanding of Nigerian financial regulations, fintech, and microfinance industry trends
- Membership with CIBN (Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria) is a plus
- Proven experience in microfinance or money lending
- Strong network in the industry
- Ability to think strategically and act decisively
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
